''The Next Batman Movie Is Not A Set Thing''. -Ben Affleck Opens Up About His Past Mistakes.

Ben Affleck is getting candid about his past mistakes and on-screen future. While promoting his upcoming film, Live by Night, Affleck opened up to The Guardian about the status of his next big screen adventure as Batman.

Before the release of 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it was revealed that Affleck was in talks to direct, star and co-write a screenplay for a standalone Batman film, tentatively titled The Batman.

"That's the idea," Affleck confirmed. "But it's not a set thing and there's no script. If it doesn't come together in a way I think is really great I'm not going to do it."

When asked why he decided to step into the batsuit in the critically panned DC Comics flick in the first place, Affleck was frank with his response. "[My son] Sam thinks his dad is Batman," he said with a laugh. "That's an incredible feeling."

Smarthome, Inc. Affleck, who shares three children Violet, 11, Seraphina, 7, and Sam, 4, with estranged wife Jennifer Garner, admitted that becoming a father "makes you see the world differently."

"I'd always had a strong idea about my values and the direction I wanted to be headed in, then I ran into getting famous and it totally spun me around and I flailed around for a few years," the 44-year-old actor and director shared.

"When you're a young man in your 20s, part of that is making mistakes and learning from them. I just made those in front of everybody, rather than privately," he continued. "There's stuff I look back on and kind of cringe at but I always tried to treat other people well. My parents imbued that in me and the mistakes I made were mostly just of the embarrassing kind."

Affleck admitted that living life in one of Hollywood's brightest spotlights comes with a wide array of highs and lows.

"I've been lucky. I've had my wildest dreams come true, but the price is the Faustian exchange you make where your identity is not your own. You become a public figure and it changes all the rules," he shared. "The press can become invasive and dishonest, and you have to put up with inconvenient stuff like that."

"I'm at peace with paying my own price, what I'm not at peace with is when it invades on my kids' space and time. They didn't make any bargains. I try to shelter them as best I can. That's my only real gripe," Affleck said.

Jennifer Lopez And Drake Are The Real Deal.

Not everyone thinks the endless stream of lovey-dovey social media posts between Jennifer Lopez, 47, and Drake, 30, are a promotional hoax. "They've gotten very close fast," a source close to J.Lo tells Us Weekly of the pair, who have been collaborating on a new music project since shortly before the romance rumors hit them. Jen "gets really excited to see him," her pal said, adding that the two "are the real deal." There's a bonus to Drake's looks for the singer, too: "... It's great for her image to be dating the hottest rapper in the game," the source says. Another insider close to Jen adds that "they listen to music and talk a lot … they have a lot in common … [and] they really like each other." It probably doesn't hurt that Drake seems like a romantic at heart. (After all, this is a guy who was rumored to have sent avowed cat lady Taylor Swift a Petco care package as a sign of his commitment.) When the rapper learned Jen hadn't attended her prom in high school, for example, he went ahead and staged one last month in a church, complete with snowflake decorations, silver banners, a band and a moment where the two of them were named King and Queen of the night. "He wanted her to have that experience," says another insider. "She was his childhood crush!"

Costa Explains Pedro Argument.

The striker had a long argument with his fellow Spain international during Chelsea's loss to Spurs but insists that there was no damage to the pair's relationship

Diego Costa has revealed what was said during his mid-game spat with Pedro during Chelsea's 2-0 defeat by Tottenham but insists that it was not important, likening his fellow Spain international to a "brother".

The Premier League pace-setters were denied a record 14th successive win in a single top-flight season as Dele Alli's double earned Spurs the bragging rights over their London rivals at White Hart Lane.

Part of Chelsea's problem on the day was a lack of cohesion in attack and that was encapsulated by a first-half incident which saw Pedro and Costa embroiled in a heated exchange after a miscommunication between the two.

The pair argued for several minutes before eventually appearing to shake hands and Costa is adamant that their relationship did not suffer any lasting damage.

"Nothing happened," the former Atletico Madrid striker told the International Business Times.

"We have a great understanding with each other. When you have a trusted relationship and intimacy with a team-mate, it is normal for these things to happen.

"It was just a moment during the game and that's it. It was nothing.

"I told him: 'You have to get in there, why didn't you go?' He said 'I went' and I said he didn't. That's it.

"Pedro is my brother and we love each other."

Bin Laden's Son Added to U.S Terror Blacklist.-State Dept

A son of late al-Qaeda head Osama bin Laden and a leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula were added to the U.S. counter-terrorism blacklist on Thursday, a move to keep them from using the U.S. financial system, the State Department said.

The State and Treasury departments said they had designated Hamza bin Laden and Ibrahim al-Banna as global terrorists. Bin Laden, a son of the deceased al Qaeda leader, has been declared a member of the group by senior leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, according to the State Department.

Bruce Reidel, an analyst with the Brookings Institution think tank in Washington, has called Hamza bin Laden the "new face for al Qaeda" and "an articulate and dangerous enemy."
Al-Banna is a senior member of AQAP who has served as the group's security chief and has provided military and security advice to AQAP leaders, the State Department said.

The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control added Bin Laden and al-Banna to its list of specially designated nationals, a counterterrorism blacklist. The State Department said the two had been identified as specially designated global terrorists.

Any property owned by the two men and subject to U.S. jurisdiction may be frozen and U.S. citizens are prohibited from engaging in any transactions with them, the State Department said. The designation is viewed as a powerful tool to deny them access to the U.S. financial system.

Bin Laden, who was born in Saudi Arabia, has called for acts of terrorism in western capitals and threatened to take revenge against the United States for his father's killing, the State Department said.
He has threatened to target Americans abroad and urged Saudi tribes to unite with AQAP in Yemen to fight against Saudi Arabia, it said.
