CRAZY! Mother Who Allegedly Threw Newborn out Window Is Now Being Investigated for Another Baby's Death.

Jennifer Berry, the 33-year-old mother charged with murdering her newborn daughter by throwing her out a seventh-floor window, is now being investigated in the death of another child, PEOPLE has learned.

Berry's 2½-week-old son was found dead inside her Yonkers, New York, home in 2008. At the time, the medical examiner's office said the death was due to sudden infant death syndrome, but on Wednesday the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced that investigators were reopening the case in the wake of Monday's incident.
"In light of what has transpired, we will be reviewing that death again," a spokesman for the D.A.'s office said in a statement Wednesday.

Berry gave birth to a baby girl on Monday afternoon while in the bathroom of her boyfriend's apartment in the Bronx. She initially told authorities that she'd given birth to a stillborn child before tossing the infant out the window, but an autopsy determined that the newborn was still alive when she was thrown, authorities told PEOPLE.
The baby was found dead on the pavement outside the Bronx building by the building superintendent's wife, who then called police.

Berry's boyfriend, 28-year-old Giovanni Johnson, told police that he had no idea she was even pregnant because she had told him she had an abortion months ago, according to the NYPD. He told officers he found Berry in a pool of blood in the bathroom after she allegedly tossed the child out the window. She insisted it was just from her period, Johnson told detectives.
A former child services worker, Berry worked for the New York City Administration for Children's Services from July 2007 until January 2008, a spokesman for the organization confirmed to PEOPLE. He did not say why Berry stopped working there.

Neighbors told PEOPLE on Wednesday that they were shocked by the violent death. "I can't sleep since I found out that baby was thrown out a window moments after being born," Maria Gonzales said. "If I had that woman in front of me, I don't know what I'd do."
Berry has been charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the newborn's death. She is being held without bail and is due back in court on Oct. 5.
