Ever Wondered Why You Get Two Different Choices To Answer Calls On Your iPhone?

If you’re an iPhone user, you may have noticed that there are sometimes different options given for answering your ringing phone. If you never realized why that happens, here it is:
The first option that you’re probably used to seeing is the slide option. You have to slide your finger across the touchscreen to answer the call.
And the second option. Instead of the slide, you get two separate icons--a red one to decline the call, and a green one to answer the call.
The options may appear to occur randomly--and of course any time you actually want to decline a call it’s the slide option that happens to come up! Then you just have to wait it out, listening to that annoying ringing or buzzing sound until the person on the other end gives up.
It turns out, it’s not random at all! They each have a very specific purpose. When your phone is locked, you’ll get the slide screen--but did you know that you can actually decline the call by presside the side button?
When your phone is unlocked, the two standard ‘accept’ and ‘decline’ options come up, allowing you to decide whether or not you really want to talk to whoever is calling.
So, now you know! And if your friends ever complain, you can fill them in as well! Now, feel free to decline to your heart’s content!
